Denmark House is a Grade II listed holiday home in the picturesque village of Hunmanby near Filey.

The property has been restored to an amazingly high standard combining many of its original features such as beamed ceilings, cast-iron fireplaces and a Victorian roll-top bath with contemporary features such as a wood burning stove, Sky TV and private Hot Tub in the garden.
 

 

Living Areas
Lounges
The Grade II listed building features a warm and comfortable main living area featuring a piano and plenty of seating on the cosy sofas in front of the log burning stove.

There is also a snug on the ground floor with a separate TV.

 

Free WiFi throughout.

Dining Room
Adjoined to the kitchen, the dining room seats eight people and provides a great space in front of the decorative Aga to enjoy a family meal.

Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with a multi-fuel range, American style fridge freezer, washer, dryer, microwave and dishwasher. Cutlery, crockery, pans and utensils are all supplied in the kitchen for you if you fancy cooking something special while you are away. Tea towels, oven gloves and basic washing up supplies are provided.

Garden featuring Hot Tub & BBQ
High walls enclose this private garden which is a great space to relax for everyone on an evening. There is a grass garden for the kids to run around in, a patio for hosting your very own BBQ and a Hot Tub to sit back and relax in.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
First Floor
All the spacious bedrooms are situated upstairs in this two-story home. There is a four-poster double bed in the main bedroom, a double bed in the other main bedroom with an en-suite shower and toilet, and then two twin rooms (2 single beds in each) to accommodate the whole family and groups alike. The bathroom is also on the first floor, with unmistakable pink walls, a Victorian roll-top bath and sizable shower.

There is ample parking outside this property as the house sits at the back of a village courtyard.

Currently our insurance will not cover for any EV charging via our properties domestic sockets and therefore these must be recharged at a designated EV charging point. The nearest charging points are:

This is a no smoking property.

Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome. We do ask that dogs are not let into sleeping areas, do not go on any of the furniture and are not left unattended in the property at any time. Alternatively, there is a boarding kennels and cattery a 5 minute drive from the property (Springfield Kennels and Cattery).

All bed linen and towels are provided. 

Highchair and Travel Cot available (no travel cot bedding provided).

A £300 deposit is due at the time of booking with the remaining balance payable 8 weeks before your arrival. 

Directions and Key information is sent via email on receipt of full payment.

 

Please note Denmark House End requires a £300 security deposit payable on check in
